Mining dusts are controllable if you know what to do.

There is no "Silver bullet" for reducing dustiness itself and the frequency of dust events on operations.  There is always a need for more than one solution to solving this problem.  An effective solution typically involves several of the following measures

  • Deployment of water and/or chemicals,

  • Modified and/or additional equipment,

  • Engineering design changes,

  • Adminstrative policies and

  • Changes to the process.

John has successfully, significantly reduced dustiness on many operations, after other engineering firms had provided their solutions and the client was not satisfied with the outcomes. In some cases, the regulator has removed an Improvement Notice following the work that John carried out for the operation.
